BACK TO SCHOOL PROJECT

Since the year 2000, Verbo Christian Family has been distributing back packs to low income families in the Fair Oaks Community and Redwood City surroundings.  The back packs, which contain school supplies, uniforms and a Bible are distributed every summer by members of our church and other community churches, such as MPPC, PCC & New Hope Church in San Carlos.

We are proud to be a part of this event to glorify God and to share God’s love with children and their families.  As of today, we have distributed more than 3,000 back packs, but most importantly, many souls have received Christ as their Lord and Savior through this event.

If you wish to be a blessing and make a difference in the lives of children, please join us!

There are a few ways to participate:

•    Praying for the event and the families who attend.
•    Registering as a volunteer to help distribute the back packs. 
•    Donating a back pack for a child. (See details below)
•    Spreading the word and encouraging others to come join us.

We are going to start collectings backpacks on April 2010 at MPPC & Verbo Ministries.
